Shelf life

18 months

Storage conditions

SikaProof® Sandwich Tape rolls have a shelf life of 18 months from date of production, if stored properly in unopened, undamaged original packaging, in a horizontal position, in dry conditions and at temperatures between +5 °C and +25 °C. The rolls must be protected from UV radiation, rain, snow and ice, etc. Do not stack pallets of the rolls on top of each other or under pallets of any other materials during transport or storage.

Compatibility

The surface to be bonded has to be solid, clean and dry. Contaminants, such as dirt, dust, oil, bitumen and de-bonding agents, such as surfactants and silicones have to be removed. For other material in direct contact (such as any synthetics etc.) the compatibility has to be evaluated.
