SikaCeram®-608 Tile Grout

Cement-based tile grout.

SikaCeram®-608 Tile Grout is a cement-based tile grout consisting of carefully selected cement, fillers, and additives for optimal workability. It offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of tiles and natural stones. The product has a special formulation to prevent shrinkage and cracking upon drying. SikaCeram®-608 Tile Grout is supplied in powder form and only requires the addition of water to create a smooth, workable paste.

Usage

It provides an easy and efficient way to grout tile and natural stone joints, ensuring an aesthetic appearance and preventing water penetration. Suitable for:
  • Horizontal (floors) and vertical (walls) areas.
  • Interior areas.
  • Dry or wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.

Shelf life

9 months from date of production if stored properly in unopened, original packaging.

Application

Application Information

Mixing ratio

0.35 – 0.4 litres of clean water per 1 kg bag.

Pot Life

~ 30 minutes (at 27oC / 65 % r.H).
Consumption

Consumption

Depends on the size of the tile.

Recommended joint width: 2 - 4 mm.
Application steps

MIXING

Add the powder to clean water and mix to a thick creamy consistency.

Always ensure that there are no lumps in the mix.

APPLICATION

Using a squeegee, sponge or brush, work the grout into the dry joints and around all edges.

Compress the grout into the joints with a suitable implement, such as a piece of wood shaped like a blunt pencil.

Removed surplus grout from the face of the tiles with a damp sponge.

When dry, polish with a dry cloth.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Remove non-hardened SikaCeram®-608 Tile Grout from tools and equipment with water. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
