The product must be stored in original, unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions at temperatures between +5 °C and +30 °C. Always refer to packaging.

Apply product to a test area to calculate the exact consumption for the specific substrate conditions and proposed application equipment.

Strictly follow installation procedures as defined in Method Statements, application manuals and working instructions which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.

Mechanical substrate preparation

Fresh concrete

The concrete must be designed for flooring, allowing for powerfloat and tamping techniques and if needed dryshake applications. If necessary, apply a dryshake to fresh concrete to remove bleeding water.

IMPORTANT

Maximum application quantity

Do not apply more than 70 g/m² (15 m²/L) per single application. The Product can be used in multiple stages together with Sikafloor® Dryshake.

IMPORTANT

Spraying equipment

Do not use sprayers which have previously been used to spray silicones or release agents. Ensure spraying equipment is cleaned thoroughly before use and previous membrane residues are removed.

IMPORTANT

Do not mix with other products

Do not mix the Product with other surface hardeners.

IMPORTANT

Remove over-spray

Clean off over-spray with water immediately from glass, aluminum or highly polished surfaces to avoid etching.

New concrete

1. Spray the Product with a low pressure sprayer immediately after the application of the concrete, during dryshake applications and during finishing to gloss level.
2. At every stage, spray a single application (15–30 m²/L). IMPORTANT: Take care not to produce puddles.
3. Finish the floor with power or manual floating/tamping techniques.
4. To achieve a higher level of surface uniformity and glossiness, polish and grind the surface 7 to 10 days after casting (wet method). IMPORTANT: During polishing and grinding, do not apply any additional densifiers, as the dry shake hardener is densified with the Product during placement.

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
